Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 cabbage
- 1 cup celery
- 2 1/2 cups chopped vidalia onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp tabasco sauce
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with some of the butter.
- Melt the remaining butter in a large skillet and cook the cabbage, celery, onions, and garlic for 12 minutes.
- Stir in the flour, evaporated milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, Tabasco, pepper, and nutmeg, then cook for 6 minutes.
- Spread the mixture in the baking dish, cover it with Parmesan and panko, and bake for 30 minutes.
