Ingredients
- 3 cups pecan halves
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup salted butter
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tbsp bourbon
- flour (optional)
- 1 pie crust
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan and let it cool slightly.
- Whisk the eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, bourbon, and melted butter.
- Arrange the pecans in the crust and pour the filling over them.
- Bake the pie for 50 to 55 minutes, until the center is set and the eggs are fully firm.
