Blueberry Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup very ripe mashed banana
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with cooking oil.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl, then beat in the eggs and mashed banana.
  3. Whisk the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together, then stir them into the banana mixture.
  4. Fold in the blueberries, spread the batter in the loaf pan, and bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
  5. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a rack and cool it completely.
