Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups packed fine blanched almond flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 heaping cup chocolate chips
- maldon sea salt (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a baking sheet with cooking oil.
- Beat the butter and brown sugar until smooth, then mix in the egg and vanilla.
- Stir in the almond flour, baking soda, and salt until a thick dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and scoop the dough onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Cool the cookies on the sheet for 4 minutes before moving them to a rack.
