- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- confectioners sugar and lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease an 8-inch cake pan with oil.
- Whisk the eggs, sugar, and lemon zest until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Fold in the almond flour until no dry spots remain.
- Pour the batter into the pan and scatter the sliced almonds over the top.
