Ingredients
- 4 cups strawberries
- 3 oz strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
- 2 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp strawberry extract
Steps
- Hull and chop 2 cups of the strawberries for 3 minutes.
- Mash the chopped strawberries with the sugar in a medium saucepan for 2 minutes.
- Whisk the cornstarch with water in a small bowl for 2 minutes.
- Cook the strawberry mixture and cornstarch slurry over medium heat for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in the gelatin and strawberry extract, then fold in the remaining strawberries for 3 minutes.
