  • 2 cans (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 yellow or white cake mix
  • 12 tbsp butter

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and lightly oil a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread both cans of strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the filling without stirring.
  4. Slice the butter thinly and arrange it evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling bubbles.
  6. Cool the cake for 10 minutes before cutting.
