- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp sea salt
- 18 tbsp unsalted butter
- 10 tbsp ice-cold water
Steps
- Whisk the flour and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut the cold butter into the flour until coarse crumbs form.
- Stir in the ice-cold water until the dough holds together.
- Chill the wrapped dough for 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle and fit it into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake the crust at 375 F for 25 minutes, then cool it for 10 minutes.
