Ingredients
- 1/3 cup light molasses
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Melt the butter with the molasses in a small saucepan, then cool the mixture slightly.
- Whisk in the egg and sugar until smooth.
- Stir in the flour, granola, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, and pepper.
- Drop 24 portions onto the sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until set.
- Cool the cookies on the sheet for 5 minutes before moving them.
