1 1/2 cups pecans
1 1/2 cups almonds
1 cup cashews

25 g / 1 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chipotle
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Steps

Heat the grill to medium-high.
Toast the pecans, almonds, and cashews in a grill-safe pan for 6 minutes, stirring twice.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Stir in the sugar, water, salt, paprika, chipotle, coriander, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne.
Add the toasted nuts and cook for 6 minutes, stirring until coated.
Spread the nuts on a baking sheet, grill for 2 minutes, and cool for 35 minutes.
