Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp frank's buffalo wings hot sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp each garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp each ground cumin
- 4 oz cream cheese
- additional hot sauce to taste (optional)
Steps
- Place the chicken and olive oil in a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Stir the buffalo sauce, honey, soy sauce, parsley, garlic powder, and cumin together, then pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 3 hours 45 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165 F.
- Add the cream cheese, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it into the sauce.
