- 1/2 cup butter

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp coconut extract
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp coconut extract
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- sea salt - to taste (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter with 2 cups chocolate chips, then stir in sugar, coconut milk, eggs, coconut extract, and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder into the chocolate mixture until combined.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 22 to 25 minutes, until the center is set.
- Cook 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup coconut milk in a saucepan over medium heat for 3 minutes, then stir in the extracts and powdered sugar.
- Spread the topping over the warm brownies, then melt 2 tablespoons butter with the remaining chocolate chips, drizzle it over the top, and add sea salt.
