Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tsp flaky sea salt
10 ounce package miniature marshmallows
12 ounce box of rice krispies or crispy rice cereal

Steps

Line a 9-by-13-inch pan with buttered foil or parchment.
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, then stir in the brown sugar and cream.
Boil the caramel mixture for 5 minutes, stirring often, then remove the pot from the heat.
Stir in the marshmallows and 1 teaspoon of sea salt until smooth.
Fold in the cereal until evenly coated, then press the mixture into the prepared pan.
