Ingredients

4 1/2 oz goat cheese
1 lb strawberries
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 whole grain baguette or small loaf of crusty whole-grain bread
small handful of fresh basil leaves
freshly ground black pepper

Steps

Heat the oven to 400 F and slice the strawberries and bread.
Toss the strawberries with honey, olive oil, and black pepper, then spread them on a baking sheet.
Roast the strawberries at 400 F for 15 minutes, until softened.
