Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 fifteen ounce can pumpkin puree
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 batch cream cheese icing
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 15-by-10-inch baking pan with cooking oil.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt in a large bowl.
- Beat the pumpkin, sugar, eggs, and oil in another bowl, then stir in the dry mixture.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 25 minutes, until the center springs back.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes, then spread the cream cheese icing over it and cut it into squares.
