- 6 bone-in pork loin chops
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1 large onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 can (4 oz) mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- optional: baked potatoes or hot cooked rice
Steps
- Heat the oven to 325 F and lightly oil a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Slice the onion and green pepper, then arrange them with the mushrooms in the dish.
- Place the pork chops over the vegetables and season with salt and pepper.
- Stir the tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar together, then pour it over the chops.
- Cover the dish and bake for 3 hours 40 minutes, until the pork reaches 145 F.
- Uncover the dish and rest the pork for 20 minutes before serving.
