Ingredients
- 3 bakery fresh plain bagels
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2/3 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup mini pepperoni
- chopped fresh basil (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F and place the bagel halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Stir the olive oil, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder together, then brush it over the bagels.
- Spread pizza sauce over each half and top them with mozzarella and mini pepperoni.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese bubbles and the edges are crisp.
- Top with chopped basil if using, and let the bagels cool for 2 minutes.
