Ingredients
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup almonds
- 4 cups oats
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil
- 3 candy canes
Steps
- Heat the oven to 325 F and line a large baking sheet.
- Warm the maple syrup, coconut oil, brown sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and salt in a small saucepan until smooth.
- Stir the almonds, oats, and pecans with the warm cocoa mixture, then spread it on the sheet.
- Bake for 25 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Cool the granola for 10 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate chips with 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil, drizzle over the granola, and sprinkle with dark chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
