Ingredients
- 20 oreo cookies
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 cups 2% milk
- 6 large egg yolks
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp confectioners' sugar
- 6 peanut butter cups
- 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts
- 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and press crushed cookies, sugar, and melted butter into a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 8 minutes and cool it completely.
- Whisk sugar, cornstarch, flour, salt, milk, and egg yolks in a saucepan over medium heat until thick and bubbling.
- Stir in peanut butter until smooth, pour the custard over the crust, and chill it for 25 minutes.
- Whip heavy cream with confectioners' sugar, spread it over the custard, and top it with chopped peanut butter cups and peanuts.
- Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the dessert and chill it for 5 minutes before cutting.
