1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp ketchup
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 bottle hot or regular ketchup
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 jar (12 oz) apple jelly
1 jar (12 oz) currant jelly

Steps

Heat the oven to 400 F and line a large baking sheet with cooking oil.
Mix the ground beef, eggs, mozzarella, bread crumbs, onion, Parmesan, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, basil, salt, and pepper.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs for 22 to 25 minutes, until they reach 160 F.
Whisk the ketchup, apple jelly, currant jelly, cornstarch, and 2 tablespoons water in a large pot.
Simmer the sauce over medium heat for 8 minutes, add the meatballs, and cook for 5 minutes.
