Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups jarred mincemeat
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cream
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ginger
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
- Whisk the eggs, white sugar, melted butter, milk, and mincemeat in a bowl.
- Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger until just combined.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 50 minutes, until the center is firm.
- Cool the loaf for 5 minutes, then whisk the powdered sugar and cream and spread the glaze over it.
