Ingredients
- 2 lb 90/10 ground beef
- 6 cloves garlic
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup minced flat-leaf parsley (optional)
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 cups tzatziki sauce (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F and oil a rimmed sheet pan.
- Mix the beef, grated onion, minced garlic, eggs, parsley, breadcrumbs, cumin, oregano, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1½ inches wide and arrange them on the sheet pan.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until browned and the centers reach 160 F.
- Rest the meatballs for 5 minutes, then serve them with tzatziki sauce.
