Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb lean beef roast
- 1 large onion
- 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies
- 2 low-sodium beef bouillon cubes
- 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp seasoning salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup salsa
Steps
- Cut the beef roast into three pieces and place it in a pressure cooker.
- Add the onion, green chilies, salsa, bouillon cubes, mustard, garlic powder, seasoning salt, pepper, and 1 cup water.
- Cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
- Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then check that the beef reaches at least 145 F.
- Cook ground meat until it reaches 160 F inside.
- Shred the beef in the cooking liquid and simmer it uncovered for 5 minutes.
