Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 1/2 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 1/4 cups milk
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 10-inch Bundt pan with cooking oil.
- Beat butter and sugar until light, then beat in the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Whisk flour and baking powder together, then add them to the batter alternately with the milk.
- Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn it onto a plate to finish cooling.
