Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup soured milk
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 batch lemon buttercream icing
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Whisk the flour and baking powder in a medium bowl.
- Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl, then add the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Mix in the flour mixture and soured milk in turns, then fold in the blueberries.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake for 10 minutes, then spread the lemon buttercream over the top.
