Ingredients
- 3 1/2 lb short ribs
- 1 onion
- 2 large scallions
- 8 cloves plump garlic
- 3 slices thin ginger
- 2 tbsp soup soy sauce
- salt and pepper
- 3 oz starch noodles (optional)
- 2 scallions (optional)
Steps
- Place the short ribs in the Instant Pot with the onion, scallions, garlic, ginger, 8 cups water, salt, and pepper.
- Seal the lid and cook at high pressure for 35 minutes.
- Let the pressure release naturally for 15 minutes, then release the remaining pressure.
- Remove the onion, scallions, garlic, ginger, and ribs, then strain the broth and return it to the pot.
- Add the sliced radish, soup soy sauce, and ribs, then simmer on sauté for 10 minutes.
- Add the starch noodles and cook for 8 minutes, then season with salt and pepper and stir in the scallions.
