- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp lime zest
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 7 chicken
Steps
- Whisk the egg with 1 teaspoon pepper in a shallow bowl, and mix flour, lime zest, pepper, and garlic powder in another.
- Dip each chicken piece in egg, coat it with flour, and let the coating rest for 5 minutes.
- Melt the margarine in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook the chicken for 8 to 10 minutes per side until it reaches 165 F.
- Stir honey, lime juice, lime zest, and minced garlic into the skillet, and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Turn the chicken in the sauce and cook for 2 more minutes before serving.
