Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp water (optional)
Steps
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat the olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the chops for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Add the butter and garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the honey, chicken broth, rice wine vinegar, and water.
- Simmer the sauce for 3 to 5 minutes, turning the chops once, until they reach 145 F.
- Rest the pork chops for 3 minutes before serving.
