- 1 lb new potatoes
- 1 lb carrots
- 1 cup green beans
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 tbsp dill
- 1 tbsp chives
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Steps
- Cut the potatoes and carrots into bite-size pieces and place them in a 4-quart pot.
- Add the milk, salt, and pepper, then simmer over medium-low heat for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the green beans and simmer for 8 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
