Ingredients

4 large sweet potatoes
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp salted butter
1 1/2 tbsp fresh thyme
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps

Heat the oven to 425 F.
Cut thin slices across each sweet potato without cutting through, then place them on a baking sheet.
Melt the butter with the honey, thyme, cinnamon, and salt, and brush half over the potatoes.
Bake for 40 minutes, brush with the remaining butter mixture, and sprinkle with pecans.
Bake for 10 more minutes, until the potatoes are tender, then rest for 5 minutes.
