- 3/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper (optional)
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 6 boneless pork chops
- 1 ball fresh mozzarella
- 2 roma tomatoes
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 9 basil leaves
Steps
- Mix the garlic powder, brown sugar, dried basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the pork chops with the seasoning mixture while the grill heats to medium-high, about 400 F.
- Grill the chops for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until they reach 145 F inside.
- Top each chop with sliced mozzarella, tomato, and fresh basil.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and rest for 3 minutes before serving.
