Ingredients

  • 6 cups chex cereal
  • 6 cups golden grahams cereal
  • 1 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Steps

  1. Combine the cereals, coconut, and almonds in a large bowl.
  2. Melt the butter, sugar, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Boil the syrup for 2 minutes, then remove it from the heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
  4. Pour the hot syrup over the cereal mixture and stir until coated.
  5. Spread the mixture on a large baking sheet and cool for 5 minutes.
