  • 1 slice lemon
  • 4 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch cracked pepper
  • 2 cups turkey broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce

Steps

  1. Pat the turkey dry, remove the giblets, and rub the skin with softened butter, salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme leaves.
  2. Place the garlic heads, thyme sprigs, rosemary, lemon, and broth in a large slow cooker, then set the turkey on top.
