Ingredients
- 20 oreo cookies
- 5 tbsp butter
- 24 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream or plain full-fat yogurt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 18 oreo cookies
- whipped cream (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 325 F.
- Crush 20 Oreos, mix them with melted butter, and press the mixture into a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat the cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth, then mix in the eggs.
- Fold 18 crushed Oreos into the batter and pour it over the crust.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, until the center is set and the eggs are fully cooked.
- Cool the cheesecake for 25 minutes, then chill it for about 7 hours and 10 minutes.
