Brownie Bites with butter

These small chocolate brownies mix in one bowl, bake in a mini muffin pan, and cool before serving.

Ingredients

  • 9 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 tbsp dutch process cocoa powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan with cooking oil.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then whisk in the sugar and salt.
  3. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla, then stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.
  4. Fill the muffin cups about three-quarters full and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the centers are set.
  5. Cool the brownie bites in the pan for 10 minutes before removing them.
