- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease an 8-by-8-inch baking pan with cooking oil.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar, and sugar until creamy, then mix in the eggs one at a time.
- Add the flour mixture and milk in alternating portions, then fold in the half cup of blueberries.
- Spread the batter in the pan and scatter the remaining blueberries over it.
- Mix the quarter cup sugar with cinnamon, sprinkle it over the berries, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until firm and the center reaches 160 F.
