Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth or water
- 1 tsp kosher salt (optional)
- 2 delallo gnocchi kits
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese balls
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- fresh parsley or basil
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F and butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook minced garlic for 1 minute.
- Stir in tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes, then add vodka and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Add heavy cream, chicken broth, and salt, then simmer the sauce for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the gnocchi, transfer everything to the baking dish, and top with mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake for 18 minutes, then rest for 2 minutes and scatter parsley or basil over the top.
