Ingredients
- 1 package cheese filled tortellini
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups whole milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup mozzarella
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F.
- Boil the tortellini in salted water until tender, about 8 minutes, then drain.
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, 8 to 10 minutes, then crumble it.
- Cook the garlic in the bacon drippings for 30 seconds, then whisk in the flour.
- Whisk in the milk, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and simmer until thick, about 5 minutes.
- Stir the tortellini and bacon into the sauce, then spread everything in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan, then bake for 20 minutes until bubbling and browned.
