Ingredients
- 4 apples
- 2 eggs
- 125 ml sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 250 ml sour milk
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and lightly oil a 9-inch pie dish.
- Peel, core, and slice the apples, then spread them evenly in the dish.
- Whisk the eggs, sugar, and sour milk in a bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the flour, salt, and bicarbonate of soda until just combined.
- Pour the batter over the apples and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until firm in the center.
- Cool the pie for 10 minutes before slicing.
