Ingredients
- 1 slice stale bread
- 1 lb ground meat
- 1 small onion
- 2 tbsp chopped feta cheese
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp oil or melted butter
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- salt
- pepper
- mint
- oregano
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup oil
Steps
- Soak the stale bread in water for 5 minutes, then squeeze it dry.
- Mix the bread, ground meat, onion, feta, bread crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, mint, and oregano.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs and coat them with flour.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the meatballs for 12 to 15 minutes, turning often, until browned and 160 F inside.
