Stuffing Meatloaf with ground beef

Ingredients

  • 1 box (6 oz) stove top stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 375 F and lightly oil a loaf pan.
  2. Stir the stuffing mix and hot water in a bowl, then let it stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix in the ground beef, eggs, half the ketchup, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Shape the mixture in the loaf pan.
  5. Stir the remaining ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard, and liquid smoke in a bowl.
  6. Spread the glaze over the loaf and bake for 45 minutes until the center reaches 160 F.
