Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp orange zest
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- freshly ground pepper (optional)
- 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp canola or vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 5 cups edamame
Steps
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the edamame for 5 minutes.
- Whisk the soy sauce, broth, honey, orange zest, cayenne, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
- Drain the edamame and add it to the skillet with the sauce.
- Cook for 4 minutes, tossing often, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
