- 1/8 tsp allspice
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 1 1/2 tsp orange zest
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and line nine muffin cups with paper liners.
- Stir the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, and allspice in a bowl.
- Whisk the egg, pumpkin, oil, orange zest, and orange juice in a separate bowl.
- Fold the wet mixture into the dry mixture until just combined.
- Mix the topping flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly, then divide it over the batter.
- Bake the muffins for 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
