  • 15 1/4 oz vanilla cake mix
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 3/4 cup canned 100% pure pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 7 oz philadelphia 1/3 fat cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup canned 100% pure pumpkin
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and line a 20-cupcake pan.
  2. Stir the cake mix, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin, and water until smooth.
  3. Divide the batter among the cups and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Beat the cream cheese, pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Cool the cupcakes for 15 minutes.
  6. Spread the frosting over the cooled cupcakes.
