Ingredients
- 4 tsp salt
- 2 sticks butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 sprigs few herbs
- 1 cup cream cheese or sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1/2 cup broth or milk (optional)
Steps
- Peel and cut the potatoes into large chunks, place them in the pressure cooker with the garlic, herbs, salt, and water.
- Cook at high pressure for 8 minutes, then let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes before releasing the remaining pressure.
- Drain any extra water, remove the herb sprigs, and mash the potatoes with the butter and cream cheese or sour cream.
- Stir in the parmesan and enough broth or milk for the desired texture, then season with salt and pepper.
