Ingredients
- 2 cup sweet corn kernels
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 1 1/2 cup unbleached all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cornmeal
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-inch round pan with the butter.
- Blend the corn, milk, eggs, and remaining melted butter until mostly smooth.
- Whisk the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, and paprika in a bowl.
- Stir the corn mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 35 minutes.
- Cool the bread for 10 minutes before slicing.
