  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with oil.
  2. Spread both cans of cherry pie filling evenly in the dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix over the cherries.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix and scatter the walnuts on top.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, until the topping is golden and the filling bubbles.
  6. Cool the cake for 5 minutes before cutting.
