Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cans (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup key lime or regular lime juice
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp finely grated lime zest
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
- Mix the graham crumbs, half the granulated sugar, and melted butter, then press the mixture into the pan.
- Bake the crust for 8 minutes and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Whisk the condensed milk, lime juice, eggs, and lime zest, then pour the filling into the crust.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until the filling is set and the eggs are firm.
- Mix the sour cream with the remaining granulated sugar and powdered sugar, spread it over the warm pie, and chill for 122 minutes.
