- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt

Steps
- Preheat the waffle iron and lightly brush it with oil.
- Melt the butter and let it cool for one minute.
- Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, melted butter, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir in cake flour, baking powder, and nutmeg until just combined.
- Cook the batter in the waffle iron for three to four minutes, until golden and firm.
- Dust the waffles with powdered sugar and add syrup, fruit, or coconut if desired.
