Ingredients
- 1/2 batch pizza dough recipe
- 7/8 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup mixed veggies of choice
- olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese
- italian seasonings (optional)
- grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- fresh basil (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F and oil a 9-inch deep-dish pan.
- Cook the garlic and mixed vegetables in a skillet with oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Press the pizza dough across the bottom and halfway up the sides of the pan.
- Spread the pizza sauce over the dough and add the vegetables and mozzarella.
- Bake the pizza for 25 to 30 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese bubbles.
- Rest the pizza for 5 minutes before cutting.
